Hello, fellow sailor!

I’m Tito, the sailor bear.

I was born and raised in the Arctic circle, where I lived with my family on a big iceberg surrounded by the cold blue waters. But as I grew up, I became curious about the world beyond my icy home. So, I decided to become a sailor bear!

Now I sail the seven seas, delivering toys to amazing sailors like you! It's been an exciting journey, and I've seen so many amazing places and met so many wonderful people.

My home is a great icy place surrounded by huge icebergs in cold blue waters. Considered talented swimmers, we polar bears can sustain a pace of six miles per hour by paddling with our front paws and holding our legs flat like the Titanic’s rudder!

Do you love icebergs as much as I do? Today you can be an iceberg hero! If the Arctic continues to warm at its current rates, we will see fewer polar bears and icebergs, making us more vulnerable to extinction. The good news is that we are still on time to change this!

How? You have the power to help protect my home and the homes of all the other creatures that live in the Arctic! Yes, you can help reduce your carbon footprint and slow down the effects of global warming. Here are some ways to reduce the risings temperatures on the Artic circle:

• Recycle more: You can recycle paper or plastics, or even the packaging of your toys. ♻️
• Keep an eye on what you use: Turn off the lights when you leave a room.💡
• Reduce the use of straws when drinking your favorite beverage. 🥤
• Turn off any dripping taps, and make sure you don’t run them for longer than necessary: For example, turning the taps off while brushing your teeth can make a big difference! 💦
• Enjoy nature: go outdoors and explore your world, you can start with ants on the sidewalk! 🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️

People need to work together to make change happen so sharing this knowledge is also a great thing to do, for your polar bear friends and icebergs to stay afloat!
