The steam & steel story

Hello, sailor! My name is Mauricio, an argentine entrepreneur, and probably like you, I've been a fan of transatlantic and modern ships since a young age. I've worked on board cruises for over two years and now, I feel that is time for me to share the love for all things nautical with other fans all over the globe: children, teens and adults.

In November 2021 I had the idea to create an online shop based in Barcelona, Spain to share my passion for Titanic and other ships, with people from all ages. Since the admiration of the Titanic and many other legendary ocean liners have no borders, I wanted to make sure to create a store that the toys and all the articles could be delivered worldwide too.

Our mission

At steam & steel store we admire and respect the story of glorious past ocean liners of the 20th century. Our mission is that this immeasurable story, of these steamers made of giant iron and steel hulls, continues to be remembered, among past and newer generations. All this combined with creativity, design and an everlasting passion.

Earlier ocean liners and transatlantic ships have ever-evolving memorable stories: RMS Titanic, RMS Lusitania, SS United States, RMS Mauretania, L'Andrea Doria or SS Île de France, to name a few.

As we look into the future, we honor and remember these past stories, while projecting a sustainable cleaner future.
