Finding The Titanic

This amazing book was co-written by Robert Ballard, the man who discovered the wreck of RMS Titanic in 1985. The book doesn't just explain the story of the ship: the event of this discovery is told by Ballard himself. Your children for sure will be captivated by the super-detailed illustrations made by Ken Marschall. The Titanic: Lost and Found

The size of the paragraphs, amazing colorful illustrations and word choices are spot on in terms of educational reading for children. This book by Judy Donnelly also doesn't have a lot of difficult-to-decode words in it. I would definitely recommend this book for a kid that is curious about the Titanic story step-by-step. I also chose this book to be featured in our summer campaign photos because I enjoyed reading it very much as a child. Find it on Amazon.
